How pricing works
Exchange rate
The exchange rate converts the amount you send into the recipient currency. The current rate will be shown in your quote before payment.
Transfer fee
The transfer fee depends on the corridor, amount, sender payment method and recipient delivery method. The applicable fee will be displayed before confirmation.
Total to pay
The total to pay is the amount you send plus the applicable transfer fee and any other charge expressly shown before payment.
Recipient amount
The expected recipient amount is the amount shown after applying the displayed rate and charges. Any permitted third-party deduction must be disclosed before confirmation.
Quote validity
A quote may be valid for a limited period. If it expires or the transfer details change, M-STB will refresh the rate and amounts before the customer confirms.
Promotions
Promotional pricing applies only under the published promotion terms and eligibility conditions.
Pricing transparency
- • Show the rate and fee before registration wherever technically possible.
- • Show the exact total payable before the customer authorises payment.
- • Explain whether the rate is indicative, fixed for a period or refreshed at confirmation.
- • Identify any payment-method surcharge separately and before confirmation.
- • Do not describe a transfer as fee-free where revenue is earned through an exchange-rate margin unless the approved disclosure makes the pricing clear.
- • Provide a link to Customer Terms, cancellation rules and refund treatment.
